Hurricane Drink Recipe

There is a whole group of fruity tropical rum drinks in bartending that are all very similar to the Hurricane.

A quick way to help remember this drink is to call it a “Flaming-Mama-OPG”, which sounds a bit crazy if you’ve never heard it before but watch the video and I’ll explain what that means…

And for the record, don’t EVER assume it’s ok to light anything on fire in your bar!

  • Tall or Hurricane glass full of ice.
  • 3/4 oz Bacardi 151 Rum.
  • 3/4 oz Malibu.
  • Almost fill equal parts O.P.:
  • O: Orange juice.
  • P: Pineapple juice.
  • G: Splash Grenadine.
  • Float Myers dark rum.
  • Cherry garnish.
