When you’re bartending, you’ll start to see certain misconceptions that some or many of your customers have. The Adios Mother F ‘er is definitely one of the those situations.
It’s funny because people think the Adios is this über strong drink based on the fact that the name has a cuss word in it…
Unfortunately for some to find out, the Adios is actually just a Long Island Iced Tea with Blue Curacao instead of Triple Sec (blue curacao is just triple sec with blue #2 food coloring), and a splash of 7-up or Sprite instead of Coke.
So really, the only difference between an Adios Mother F ‘er and a Long Island Iced Tea is a splash of 7-up instead of a splash of Coke. But shhhh, don’t tell anyone because the Adios is sometimes a $1-$2 more expensive, aka we can make more money!
